Tambry is a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She is certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is board certified in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine.
Prior to studying Chinese medicine, Tambry earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Development and spent several years working with underserved populations. She later volunteered with AmeriCorps at a community health center in Denver, Colorado working as a patient navigator. This experience exposed her to the limitations of the conventional healthcare system and inspired her to pursue a form of medicine that looks beyond symptom management and addresses the underlying causes of disease, ultimately leading her to study Chinese medicine.
In her practice, Tambry is dedicated to helping patients feel their best through holistic, individualized care. She believes the body has a strong capacity to heal when given the right support, and her goal is to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Using a variety of modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance, she provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions. She has completed additional training in sports acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and Balance Method Acupuncture, allowing her to take a well-rounded approach to both acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical specialty is in pain management, nervous system regulation, and women’s health. She strives to create treatments that are both effective and deeply relaxing, helping patients feel calm, supported, and restored.
